DAYTON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2002
NCR Corporation (NYSE:NCR) today announced that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lars Nyberg and Chief Financial Officer Earl Shanks signed and filed sworn statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as required under its June 27, 2002 order. In addition, the company's Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2002 has been certified by these officers pursuant to Section 906 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The company today filed a Form 8-K with the SEC including these certifications.
