REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2002

EA.COM(sm), a division of Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS), ratchets up the action on pogo.com with an assortment of new, free games including Hammerhead Pool, SSX Snowdreams and It's Outta Here 2.

Hammerhead Pool allows up to three players to step up to the table for some 8-, 9-ball or cutthroat pool action playing with friends or against robots. In all modes, players use the cue ball to sink target balls into the pockets giving players the chance to win pogo.com tokens or cash jackpots.

For those aching for a blizzard in the dead of summer, SSX Snowdreams delivers single-player snowboarding fun in one of two game modes: Circuits, where boarders stay on course, push out as many tricks as possible while racing against the clock and Free Ride, where players explore the mountain and choose to race against the clock or concentrate on racking up big air trick points. Players take on the role of one of two characters, each of whom have different abilities, and select from two snowboards to live out their "snowdream" fantasies. Big tricks and lightening speed times rack up pogo.com tokens and cash jackpots.

Batter up, baseball fans! Test your hitting skills and step up to the plate in It's Outta Here 2. Players swing for the fences as one of the nation's three best hitters who have been invited to compete in this year's It's Outta Here 2 challenge. In this single-player baseball game, players go up against pitchers in one of three difficulty levels: Amateur, Professional and World-Class. Players who successfully make it through four pitchers win the game for pogo.com tokens and cash jackpots.

All games are currently available at EA.com, pogo.com and the AOL Games Channel.
