Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation and Calvin Klein Sign License Agreement

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2002

Calvin Klein, Inc. and Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation (NYSE:PVH) today announced that they have entered into a strategic licensing arrangement for the manufacture and distribution of dress shirts in department and specialty stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico under the brand name cK Calvin Klein.

Dress shirts under this license will be available at retail beginning with the Fall 2002 season.
