William P. Leahy Joins Textron Financial's Finance Company Services; Experienced Financier to Serve as Director - Business Development

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 2002

William P. Leahy has joined Textron Financial's Finance Company Services (FCS) as Director - Business Development. A division of Textron Financial Corporation, FCS is a specialized financial service company serving the needs of the small- to-mid-sized independent lending community.

As Director - Business Development, Leahy will be responsible for developing new client relationships and for ongoing portfolio management. He will also seek to cultivate relationships with venture capitalists, investment bankers and others in the capital marketplace.

Prior to joining FCS, Leahy was Vice President Mezzanine Finance at Fifth Third Bank in Columbus, Ohio where he gained extensive experience analyzing, underwriting and structuring commercial loans, private placements and subordinated debt. Previously, he worked as a Managing Director at Bank One Capital Partners risk capital fund where he managed the fund's credit functions and recommended investments for approval.

Leahy earned a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland State University, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Kent State University and Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
