Intel Corporation today introduced new versions of the Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor -- the world's highest performance desktop microprocessor.

At speeds now up to 2.8 GHz, the new processors allow consumers to enjoy a richer PC experience with broadband audio and video content, games, music, photos and movies.
