AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 2002
Hire.com today announced the signing of 62 customer contracts in the first half of 2002.
Among new contracts were global deals with SITA, an information and telecommunications provider for the air transport industry, and Infineon, a division of Siemens. Other noteworthy national account wins include CNA, Harris Corporation and Clarian Health. And due to its customers' success building private talent communities and streamlining the hiring process, Hire.com also signed multi-year renewals contracts with AT&T, Hartford, EDS and Prudential, among others.
Hire.com has seen an average of 39 percent quarterly growth since January 2000. Much of the interest in the company's talent management software can be attributed to the accomplishments of its customers. Hire.com's customers reduce the cost per hire, increase the time to productivity, and decrease attrition. Companies using Hire.com solutions consistently see a rapid return on investment. One such customer is Roche Diagnostics (www.roche-diagnostics.com), the world's leading provider of diagnostic systems and decision-oriented health information.
"As a company that strives to be the 'employer of choice' in our industry, we believe that Hire.com fits effectively into our people strategy and helps us gain a competitive advantage by building a workforce of highly talented people," said Martin Madaus, President and CEO of Roche Diagnostics Corporation. "The results speak for themselves. We are seeing qualified candidates, highly talented people, significant savings from recruiter's fees and we're building relationships with the top people in our industry."
Hire.com's growth has been significant in the healthcare, insurance and financial industries, where competition for quality talent remains fierce. Companies in these markets, as others, recognize the importance of sourcing before demand and in implementing streamlined hiring processes. Hire.com's customers prevent staffing shortages by identifying the necessary skill set required for each position and building relationships with applicants that meet those criteria.
"Hire.com is one of the few vendors answering the market need for comprehensive talent management," said John Sumser, founder and president of interbiznet. "Talent shortages are real. Even though companies may receive floods of resumes, unless they have the right safeguards in place for the planning, acquiring and retaining quality talent, they will still fall short of hiring the right person."
"Customer results drive our business," said Kevin Bethke, CEO at Hire.com. "That may sound obvious, but many companies, in the race to become the 'market leaders,' lose sight of delivering results to customers. We have always put the customer's success first and because we consistently deliver on that promise, we are seeing success of our own and growth at all levels of the company today."
Customers rated Hire.com #1 in customer service in this year's ERE Applicant Tracking Systems survey. In the same survey, Hire.com was recognized as the leader in the feature performance category for candidate screening, and exceeded the industry average in all other categories. Hire.com understands the importance of system reliability and performance to its customers. Its hosting infrastructure is consistently given a top-level, 5-Star rating in global application performance and availability by Keynote Systems, the worldwide leader in Internet performance and monitoring.
