Closed Loop Instant Response Solution Connects Enterprise

Applications to Distributed Workers Using IBM Lotus Sametime(R),

Drives Down Costs of Delayed Response

Vayusphere, Inc., the leading provider of Instant Response (IR) software and solutions, announced today that it has integrated Vayusphere Instant Response Server (IRiS) with IBM's real-time collaboration software, Sametime, and has joined the IBM PartnerWorld(R) Program.

Vayusphere IRiS enables companies with large distributed work forces to rapidly resolve mission-critical business problems where the cost of delayed response is high. Vayusphere IRiS enables Sametime customers to connect event-driven enterprise applications to distributed workers using any desktop or mobile device for which a Sametime client is available. Sametime is in use at 60 Global Fortune 100 companies and has over seven million corporate users worldwide.

"Organizations recognize instant messaging as a valuable platform for connecting distributed teams. The Sametime software's high rate of adoption demonstrates the need for tools that enable employees and teams to collaborate," said Michael Loria, director of Advanced Collaboration, IBM Lotus Software. "The integration of Vayusphere IRiS and Lotus Sametime expands this collaboration further to include line of business applications, which is a valuable component of the Sametime market strategy."

"We are pleased to be a member of the IBM PartnerWorld Program," said Pushpendra Mohta, Vayusphere's CEO. "Teaming with IBM further extends our position as the leading provider of Instant Response software and solutions for the real-time enterprise. Lotus Sametime is tremendously successful in the enterprise for IM communications and now with Vayusphere IRiS, Sametime users can reduce transaction times of high value business processes, enjoy the benefits of receiving notifications from enterprise applications and being able to communicate with enterprise applications through their Sametime IM clients."

Vayusphere IRiS enables companies with large distributed work forces to rapidly resolve mission-critical business problems where the cost of delayed response is high. IRiS is particularly appropriate for reducing costs of IT Help Desk, field service, field maintenance and repair, field sales, and supply chain event management for companies in the Financial Services, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Manufacturing, Telecom, Transportation and Utilities industries.

Vayusphere IRiS is the industry's first platform to combine a Presence, Availability and Location (PAL) Server; Response Agent Server; Instant Messaging and Enterprise Application Integration capabilities in a single integrated platform. This unique combination enables Vayusphere IRiS to perform two powerful functions:

1. IRiS enables enterprise applications to automatically and intelligently find and notify distributed workers of business problems that require instant response. IRiS' unique Presence, Availability and Location (PAL) Server dynamically tracks workers' ability to respond to problems using real-time data about where they are, what they are doing and whether or not they are qualified to solve the problem. IRiS' PAL server can track and aggregate PAL information from multiple sources including Lotus Sametime, mobile devices and GPS tracking systems. In this way, IRiS ensures that the right person is always working on the right problem at the right time. IRiS notifies selected workers, in real-time, using secure instant messages sent to their desktop, PDA, pager or phone. IRiS only notifies enterprise workers that it knows are present and available to respond.

2. IRiS enables workers to simultaneously collaborate with enterprise applications and co-workers, remotely and in real-time, in order to rapidly investigate and resolve business problems. IRiS' unique Response Agent Server manages bi-directional interactions between enterprise applications and enterprise workers. Response Agents enable mobile workers to interact with enterprise applications remotely using instant messages sent from a single, lightweight client running on any Instant Messaging-enabled desktop or mobile device. Customers may develop Response Agents using popular development platforms such as J2EE and Microsoft .NET.

By enabling both application-push (find and notify) and worker-pull (investigate and resolve) interactions between enterprise applications and distributed workers, Vayusphere provides the industry's first software platform for closed-loop Instant Response.
