SplashData, Inc., the leading developer of virtual wallet applications for Palm OS handhelds, today announced a significant upgrade to SplashPhoto, its best-selling image viewer for Palm OS handhelds.
SplashPhoto(TM) 3.0 now includes support for high resolution displays (such as the Sony Clie), 12-bit displays (such as the Handspring Treo) and viewing of JPEG images stored on external memory cards. The new version is available at an introductory price of $9.95 -- 50% off the normal price of $19.95.
SplashPhoto displays digital images on a handheld as thumbnails, full screen images or in a slide show. Images may be cropped, enhanced and installed on the handheld using SplashPhoto Desktop, a desktop image editor for Windows and Mac OS. JPEG images may also be viewed directly from external memory cards, such as the Palm SD/MMC expansion card or Sony Clie Memory Stick. SplashPhoto supports virtually all black/white and color Palm OS handhelds from Palm, Handspring, Sony, Kyocera, Samsung and others. Images may be displayed on Low Res (160x160), High Res (320x320) and High Res + (320x480) devices in 16-bit color, 12-bit color, 8-bit color or 4-bit grayscale.

System Requirements
SplashPhoto supports all handheld models running Palm OS 3.1 or later including Palm, Handspring, Sony, HandEra, Kyocera, Samsung and Symbol.
