New VP and Chief Technology Officer Dayao to Direct RCG IT Technology Strategy for Offshore Delivery Center

RCG Information Technology, a leading IT solutions provider, today announced that it has named Jonathan Dayao, PhD as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of its Manila Offshore Delivery Center (ODC).
Dayao reports to Manny Rodriguez, President, RCG IT Philippines. Dayao will play a key role in shaping technology strategy for RCG IT's offshore delivery services in Manila and help drive the ODC to CMM(R) (Capability Maturity Model(R)) Level 3 within the next year.

Before joining RCG IT, Dayao was Vice President and Division Head of Software Ventures International responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's IT services and 200 IT professionals. Previously, he worked for Unisys and SunLife of Canada (Philippines) Inc. Dayao was Dean of Computer Studies for De La Salle University, Manila, where he led 60 full-time and 30 part-time faculty members in the information, computer and software technology departments. Dayao graduated from the University of Brighton, England with a PhD in Computer Science, and is a member of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) international honors society for the computing sciences. He is an expert in object oriented (OO) software development, in the application of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Rational Unified Process (RUP) for software development.

It has a significant US and global clientele with a consultant pool experienced in web technologies and middleware, client/server and legacy systems and mainframe, mid-range and Intel-server platforms.
