POMPANO BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 2002
Brown Jordan International, Inc. ("BJI"), the premier designer, manufacturer and marketer of fine luxury and contract furnishings, launched an exclusive line of cleaning products at their 2003 Pre-Market Expo at Chicago's Merchandise Mart. The BJI Furniture Care Center was developed to enhance BJI's fine luxury furniture collections.
BJI introduced a unique offering of top-of-the-line furniture care products necessary for the quality maintenance of customers' furniture investments from teak to aluminum. All of the supplies needed to maintain and even restore the beauty of BJI's fine outdoor furniture are packaged in convenient kits located at the BJI Furniture Care Center, an attractive, fully-stocked display case.
Among BJI's many product introductions at their Pre-Market event, the Furniture Care Center was one of the most successful. The tremendous response was far beyond what the company had projected. Lynn Beylerian, President of Treasure Island, one of BJI's leading dealers stated: "BJI's Furniture Care Products are not only top quality but they are also merchandised beautifully and reflect the same high-quality image as BJI's fine furniture collections. We are very excited about the added value these products will provide our customers."
This product line is the first of its kind for BJI and will be featured again at the International Casual Furniture and Accessories Market in September. Bill Echols, President Retail Market Division stated: "We entered the cleaning products category to support our goal of developing a comprehensive offering of luxury furnishings and accessories. These items are a direct response to the previously unanswered consumer demand for luxury furniture care needs. We are very excited about this program, as it has already proved to be a tremendous success."
BJI's Furniture Care Center is a completely merchandised display, consisting of Teak Cleaner, Brightener, and Sealer, Outdoor Furniture Cleaner, Sling and Cushion Protector, Mildew Cleaner and Resistor, Fabric Cleaner, Table Top Cleaner, Spot Cleaner, application tools, complete kits, and informational brochures. These displays are sold to dealers as complete units, and refills can be conveniently ordered through an 800 number.
