MTV Telecom Launches Telrad Connegy's IP Telephony System in Great Britain

MTV Telecom plc has launched Telrad Connegy's Helix, a remote office IP solution that is fully integrated with the company's UNITe PABX, to the United Kingdom market.

MTV also announced the upcoming launch of Telrad Connegy's CNS 3200e, an advanced IP-based software switch and application server, due to begin sales in early 2003.

The new Helix remote IP solution enables transparent telecommunications among multiple locations and allows businesses to centralize remote telecommunication functions including voice mail, inbound calling, outbound long distance and ACD over any IP network. This allows businesses to achieve significant cost savings and to realize productivity improvements.

Compatible with a range of proprietary digital telephones, the UNITe PABX features web-managed unified messaging, a variety of IP solutions and network configuration options, the latest in computer-telephony integration, a sophisticated ACD package and much more.

The CNS 3200e IP system enables the delivery of advanced VoIP telecommunications (i.e., IP Centrex) and enhanced services (i.e., personalized Web content delivered to IP phones) for distributed and hosted LAN telephony. The system features the innovative i.Picasso(TM) 6000 - the first IP telephone with a color LCD touch screen and integrated HTML rendering capabilities with an open applications environment.
