GWSolutions, Inc. Appoints Ronald Plesco Project Director and Timothy
Rosenberg Senior Specialist, Information Security Practice
GWSolutions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The George Washington University, announced the appointments of Ronald Plesco, Esq. as Project Director and Timothy Rosenberg, Esq. as Senior Specialist, for the Information Security Practice.
Led by Mr. Plesco and Mr. Rosenberg, the Information Security Practice assists clients through the complete information assurance process from assessment of risk and need, through policy development, solution deployment and employee education. GWSolutions offers courses utilizing dynamic, hands-on demonstrations of cyber-threats without risking clients' critical networks.
On January 22, 2003, Plesco and Rosenberg will lead a free, GWSolutions seminar titled "Information Security and Corporate Responsibility," which CEO's, CIO's, Security and Privacy Officers, corporate counsel, and IT professionals are encouraged to attend.

Previously, Mr. Plesco served as Director of Policy for the Pennsylvania State Police under then Governor Thomas Ridge, now Security Advisor to the Office of Homeland Security. Mr. Plesco has been cited on the topic of Internet crime and security in such publications as Computerworld and Information Security Magazine. Mr. Plesco is the President of both the National Cyber Forensic Training Alliance, and the Central Pennsylvania FBI Infragard Chapter; he serves on the National Cyber-Crime Training Partnership Sub-Committee on state and local prosecutors training, and is Chairman of the Cyber Attacks Committee on Pennsylvania Governor Schweiker's Task Force on Security.
Mr. Rosenberg has been involved in critical infrastructure protection as a consultant for several years, and will begin teaching Information Warfare for The George Washington University in spring 2003. He also teaches at national conferences such as RSA and the InfowarCon. Since graduating from Villanova Law School in 1997, Rosenberg has taught a variety of technical and legal courses around Information Security, Warfare and Terrorism to students from Fortune 500 companies, senior military officers and state and federal law enforcement. Recently, Mr. Rosenberg concluded two years as the Eastern Pennsylvania Infragard Chapter President.
