RazorGator Appoints J. Michael Arrington as Chief Operating Officer and Promotes David Mok to Chief Technical Officer

RazorGator, Inc., a leading secondary ticketing distributor, today announced the addition of two senior executives to the RazorGator team. J. Michael Arrington has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, he will also join the RazorGator Board of Directors. David Mok has been promoted to Chief Technical Officer.

Arrington and Mok join the company founder and Chief Executive Officer Doug Knittle. The group brings a combined 32 years experience in the ticket industry and over 15 years experience in technology and ecommerce organizations.

Chief Operating Officer

J. Michael Arrington will lead RazorGator as the company's COO and General Counsel. Previously, he served as Vice President, Operations for London-based Global Name Registry Ltd., with responsibility for the sales, marketing, business development, product and legal groups. With his appointment as COO, Arrington will also join the RazorGator Board of Directors.

Prior to Global Name Registry, Arrington co-founded Achex, Inc. and served as General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development, Sales & Marketing. Achex, a payments infrastructure company backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, RRE Ventures and eONE Global, was sold to First Data Corporation (NYSE:FDC) in June 2001 for approximately $32 million.

Prior to Achex, Arrington was Vice President, Business Development and General Counsel at RealNames Corporation. Prior to RealNames, Arrington was an attorney at the Palo Alto based law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he co-authored a book on initial public offerings that is included in Bowne's Practical Guide Series. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and Stanford Law School.

Chief Technical Officer

As RazorGator's Chief Technical officer, David Mok brings to the company nearly 10 years of extensive management and industry experience. Prior to RazorGator, Mok was founder and CEO of APTIQ Internet Solutions, a Singapore based technology consulting company. Prior to APTIQ, Mok taught English and was the acting head of Information Technology at Serangoon Junior College in Singapore. He was responsible for the technology needs of a combined staff and student population of almost 1,500, and he also developed several multimedia and online learning systems. Prior to Serangoon Junior College, Mok was a technology journalist at The Business Times, a leading Asian business newspaper. While at The Business Times, Mok met and interviewed leading technology visionaries such as Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Al Shugart and Nicholas Negroponte. Mok is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and has a post graduate diploma from the Nanyang Technological University.
