Knott's Joins U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, NBC4, and HOT 92 Jamz to Make

the Holidays Merrier for Southern California Kids

Knott's Theme Park has teamed up once again with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, NBC4, and HOT 92 Jamz to make the holidays brighter for kids throughout Southern California.

Under the annual U.S. Marines Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Drive, guests bringing a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more to Knott's Theme Park will get into the park free Dec. 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2002 only.

The collected toys will be distributed by U.S. Marines Corps Reserve personnel to disadvantaged children throughout Southern California. The annual program is part of a nationwide U.S. Marines Corps Toys for Tots program.

Guests participating in the Toys for Tots program can meet both NBC4, KVEA (Channel 52) and Hot 92 Jamz on-air talent before experiencing the holiday attractions at Knott's Merry Farm(R). The park has been transformed into a spectacular holiday wonderland with the Christmas Crafts Village and the dazzling ice show, "It's Christmas, Snoopy."

New for 2002's Merry Farm is the creation of Elf Mountain Christmas. The famous Timber Mountain Log Ride has been transformed this holiday into a world of Elves getting ready for Santa's busiest day. Rich with lights, music and the merriest of times, this attraction will remain open until Jan. 5, 2003.
