EDISON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 4, 2002

International Nonprofit Relies on IT Offshore Outsourcing to

Modernize Donation Management System

RCG Information Technology (www.rcgit.com), a leading IT professional services provider, today announced it has completed an application development and enhancement project for World Vision, one of the world's largest charitable and humanitarian organizations.

RCG IT was engaged to provide systems design, application development, testing and project management for World Vision's Donation Management System. The project was entirely outsourced to RCG IT. The work was performed at RCG IT's Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) in Manila, the Philippines.

The Donation Management System is used by World Vision's 19 offices worldwide to help manage fundraising, create profiles of donors, and account for different tax and bank laws in individual countries. According to Frank Corlett, World Vision senior manager of technology and development, the system required constant upgrades to keep up with the organization's requirements. RCG IT was retained to modernize it and consolidate the data into World Vision's organizational database.

"We chose RCG IT among all the IT providers we evaluated because of track record, Manila staff expertise, and price point," said Corlett. "They did an outstanding job from start to finish. I worked directly with them from my Los Angeles office in a seamless fashion and with close team collaboration. I'm very happy with how well the project has turned out."

Corlett said that they will leverage the upgrades and modifications implemented by RCG IT as they roll out a new version of the Donation Management System early next year.

RCG IT's Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) in Manila is 100% owned and operated by RCG IT Inc., headquartered in Edison, New Jersey. A growing number of organizations are choosing the Philippines for offshore outsourcing due to the country's mature infrastructure, government support, ease-of-doing business, and compatibility with US culture, language and business practices. RCG IT's Manila professionals specialize in Web technologies, object-oriented tools and middleware for mid-range and Intel-server platforms. RCG IT's ODC methodology, tools and processes are standardized and completely consistent with those used in its US development centers.
