InfiniSwitch Expands Internationally with Nissho Electronics and Andiamo Raises Visibility and Adoption Rate of InfiniBand in Japan and Europe

InfiniSwitch Corporation, the market leader in developing InfiniBand(a) switching solutions designed for the data center, today announced it has formed strategic partnerships with Nissho Electronics Corporation and Andiamo, a Crucible Group Company, giving InfiniSwitch entry into the Japanese and European markets respectively.

The Nissho Electronics partnership establishes Nissho as InfiniSwitch's distribution partner and sales representative in Japan. The companies will work to open and develop the Japanese market for InfiniBand technology. InfiniSwitch currently has products installed in some of the leading Japanese companies. Headquartered in Tokyo, Nissho Electronics has distribution and partnership agreements with some of the world's leading technology companies, including Adaptec, Auspex, Compaq HP and Network Appliance.

Andiamo will serve as InfiniSwitch's sales representative in the European market. Andiamo will work to promote InfiniSwitch in all the major countries, which comprise the European marketplace through its sales activities as well as through co-marketing initiatives with InfiniSwitch.
