PSC Inc. and Velagio Form Strategic Alliance; To Expand Turnkey Mobile & Wireless Data Collection Solutions To Broader Market

PSC Inc. (PSCX. OB), a global provider of integrated data collection solutions for the retail supply chain, and Velagio, a premier mobile enterprise software applications provider and systems integrator, today announced a strategic alliance designed to offer customers worldwide with a larger selection of turnkey Windows CE-based mobile and wireless data collection solutions.
Under the new alliance, Velagio's mobile enterprise business applications software suite, Broadband in Motion(TM), will be integrated with PSC Falcon(R) mobile and wireless data collection terminals that feature Windows CE.
The turnkey solution will enable secure access to enterprise applications with128-bit encryption and continuous, uninterrupted transaction processing capabilities from remote locations. Additionally, it will offer local data storage and business rules for easy off-line processing, when wired or wireless connections are not available.
