IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 2002

Customers who want more than the capabilities of a desktop PC in a mobile design at an affordable price now have the perfect solution.

Today, Toshiba's Computer Systems Group introduces the Satellite(R) 1905 with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 processor, 1,600MHz (1.6GHz); combining power, performance and style at less than $2,000.

The all-in-one Satellite 1905-S277 provides the performance necessary to perform daily productivity tasks and multimedia functions. More than three hours(a) gives users ample battery life whether sitting in their home office, taking notes in class, or working on a project at a local coffee shop.

For fast e-mail access and Internet connection, the Satellite features both an integrated V.90 modem and 10/100 Ethernet port.

Providing the comfort one would expect without the bulk of a desktop computer, the sleek blue Satellite 1905's wide 15-inch diagonal active-matrix display eliminates the need to connect to an external monitor.

In addition, with the premium desktop-quality ATI(R) Mobility(TM) Radeon(TM) graphics processor, home office users can experience eye-popping graphic intensity while watching movies or playing graphic-intensive games.

The integrated DVD-ROM/CD-RW multifunction drive allows users to take a break to watch movies and listen to or burn CDs. To round out this feature set, the Satellite is loaded with 256MB of RAM, a 30GB hard disk drive and an internal floppy disk drive.

Customized Service and Support Offerings

The Satellite 1905 Series comes with a one-year parts and labor standard limited warranty that includes Toshiba's 48-hour Notebook Depot repair program and carry-in service to Toshiba's Authorized Service Partners. Telephone technical support is available through Toshiba's InTouch Center(R) 24 hours a day, seven days a week and online support is available at www.toshiba.com.
