More than $8 million in technology services contracts signed at

four leading higher education institutions in

California, Washington and Arizona

Growth in the demand for technology management and strategic services highlights a series of agreements among CollegisEduprise and several Southwest and Western colleges and universities.

CollegisEduprise, the leading provider of comprehensive technology services to higher education, has signed distinct contracts with Claremont Graduate University and West Hills Community College District in California, Northern Arizona University and the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, an agency of Washington state government.

The partnerships, led by a five-year technology management agreement with Claremont Graduate University (CGU), combine for well over $8 million in revenues for the corporation and will deliver infrastructure support, strategic guidance and virtual campus management to schools in the Southwest and Pacific Coast regions.

Claremont Graduate University, home of the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, includes seven academic schools and two departments all dedicated to graduate study just east of Los Angeles.

Another California project involves the delivery of services and support for West Hills Community College District. With campuses in California's economically depressed San Joaquin Valley, WHCCD will receive strategic services and infrastructure support to buoy an ambitious distance learning plan for better academic access, educational enhancement and economic efficiency.

The agreement with the Washington State Board includes the integration, hosting and 24x7 help desk services to support both Blackboard and WebCT course management systems. Additionally, CollegisEduprise provides strategic assistance in the development of Washington OnLine/Virtual Campus, a statewide Web-based online and distance learning hub.

"Opportunities for colleges to increase access are greatly enhanced by this relationship."

Northern Arizona University (NAU), based in Flagstaff, selected CollegisEduprise to focus on assessing its current capabilities and use of technology in instruction. CollegisEduprise will help NAU leverage past and current investments in technology to enhance future educational opportunities and efficiencies on campus.
