Viisage Awarded $672,000 Face Recognition Contract by U.S. Department of Defense

Viisage Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: VISG), the leader in face-recognition technology and identification systems and solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a $672,000 face recognition contract by the U.S. Department of Defense. The contract is for the continued development of facial recognition surveillance systems useable in operational environments and suitable for use in high security applications.
