LaserComm, an innovator of photonic components and modules and a leader in managing chromatic dispersion in optical networks, today announced that its Plano, Texas manufacturing facility has received ISO 9002 quality certification following a stringent 2 day audit. This certification recognizes that LaserComm's manufacturing facility meets the international standard for quality assurance in production, installation and servicing.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a worldwide federation of national standards bodies active in 140 countries, creates, administers and monitors quality standards and guidelines to certify product quality. In meeting these important quality requirements, LaserComm has established and demonstrated effective procedures and processes that ensure its Hi-Mode(R) dispersion management product line is manufactured, installed and serviced under a rigorous quality system.
