Prudential Securities Bolsters Municipal Bond Team; Aims To Better Serve Retail And Middle Market Clients

Prudential Securities, a Prudential Company (NYSE:PRU), announced that it recently added Linda Ebrahim, Steven Levy and Mitchell Savader to its Municipal Bond Research team.
The team now includes a fixed-income strategist, treasury market strategist, four corporate bond analysts, two emerging market analysts, a mortgage-backed strategist, a municipal bond strategist and three municipal bond analysts. The team's focus will be on strengthening the firm's surveillance of municipal credits necessary to serve its retail and middle market investors. All members of the team report to Anne Briglia, CFA - director Fixed-Income Research and Michelle Girard, director Fixed-Income Research.

Linda Ebrahim is a vice president in the Fixed-Income Strategy and Research Group, covering the Central Region of the U.S. Before coming to Prudential Securities, Linda was a senior vice president at Moody's Investors Service and worked as an analyst for several years. Linda was also at FGIC as an underwriter and was a supervising analyst in NYC's Office of Management and Budget. Linda holds a BA in Political Science from Hunter College and a MPA in Quantitative Analysis from John Jay College.
Steven Levy is a vice president in the Fixed-Income Strategy and Research Group, covering the Western Region of the U.S. Before coming to Prudential Securities, Steven was an assistant vice president in US Public Finance at Dexia Credit Local from 1997 to 2001, and a municipal bond trader and analyst from 1995 to 1997 at the Bank of New York. Prior to that, Steven was a municipal bond evaluator at Thompson Financial from 1991-1994. Steven received a BA in Economics from Muhlenberg College in 1989 and a MBA from Fordham University in 1996.
Mitchell Savader is a first vice president in the Fixed-Income Strategy and Research Group, covering the Eastern Region of the U.S. Before coming to Prudential Securities, Mitchell was a principal/underwriter at American Capital Access from 1999 to 2001 and the head of municipal underwriting at Banc One Leasing Corporation from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, Mitchell worked at Moody's Investors Service from 1986 to 1997 where he served as a vice president/senior credit officer. Mitchell received his BA in Political Science from Hofstra University in 1982 and his MA in Public Affairs from Fordham University in 1985.
