FrontRange Solutions Inc., an international market leader in customer relationship management (CRM) and customer service and support software that delivers rapid results, Tuesday announced GoldMine(R) Plus Accounting for use with Intuit's latest versions of its QuickBooks(R) software -- QuickBooks Pro 2002, QuickBooks Premier 2002 and QuickBooks Premier 2002: Accountant Edition.
Using GoldMine Plus Accounting with the QuickBooks 2002 products provides sales teams with access to customer credit history in real-time while accounting departments retain control of the financial data. GoldMine Plus Accounting also presents companies with a comprehensive view of their customer interactions.
"While this isn't the first integration with accounting applications with GoldMine, this is the most far-reaching back-office integration to date with GoldMine Business Contact Manager," noted Kelly Spang, senior analyst, E-Business Applications at Current Analysis Inc. in a recent report.
GoldMine Plus Accounting for use with the QuickBooks 2002 products is being launched as part of the FrontRange Open Accounting Initiative to integrate its award-winning GoldMine(R) solutions with popular accounting packages.
By enabling data integration between GoldMine and accounting functions in software such as the QuickBooks 2002 products, FrontRange provides businesses with simple and easy-to-use tools to help:
-- Maintain consistent contact data across the sales and accounting systems -- Provide sales and marketing with read-only access to critical information in QuickBooks Pro 2002, Premier 2002 or Premier 2002: Accountant Edition -- Generate quotes and enter orders -- Schedule follow-ups in GoldMine based on information in QuickBooks Pro 2002, Premier 2002 or Premier 2002: Accountant Edition -- Store, view and update fields in GoldMine with data from QuickBooks Pro 2002, Premier 2002 or Premier 2002: Accountant Edition -- Improve financial management through better access to information on customers
The industry standard in contact management and sales force automation, GoldMine is noted for its abilities to allow easy access to client history, its complete, uncomplicated view of potential sales, and its organized, highly detailed account management to shorten the sales cycle -- allowing information access for targeted follow-up.
"Our research shows that more than 99 percent of GoldMine users have an accounting solution. But currently only 5 percent of GoldMine installations are integrated with the finance function. There is a real opportunity for many mainstream businesses to benefit from enterprise-style CRM at an affordable price," said Patrick Bultema, president and chief executive officer of FrontRange.
"The traditional elements of sales, marketing, service, support and accounting cannot exist in isolation. To be successful in today's tough economic climate, the ability to integrate all customer information is crucial to success."
