C. Michael Chang, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Verplex Systems, Inc., is an invited speaker at Robertson Stephens' 19th Annual Technology Conference session held today at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Calif. Chang will describe the strategy behind Verplex's success in cracking open the formal verification market within the electronic design automation (EDA) industry sector. His company is viewed as the market and technology leader, through its complete software solution and its independence status that positions them to provide the broadest level of third-party support.
Chang is co-founder of Verplex and the key architect of its product lines. Chang was co-founder and president of CheckLogic Systems, Inc., which was acquired by Mentor Graphics in 1993. He previously held various positions in companies such as Zilog and Cadence Design Systems, and has extensive EDA development and management experience. Chang received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin.
