DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 2002
Kolorfusion International, Inc. (OTCBB:KOLR) announced today that a License Agreement has been entered into with Moen, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE:FO).
The License allows Moen to install and utilize Kolorfusion's patented three-dimensional product decoration process for use on their faucet and bath products. Moen is one of the largest manufacturers of faucets and accessories in North America with sales approaching $1.0 billion. Moen is introducing the technology at the International Builders' Show in Atlanta, Georgia, Feb. 8-11.
"Having licensed this process, we can now truly provide unique designs and customization to our customers. Our Builders' Show introduction of the technology is a culmination of working with Kolorfusion for the past eighteen months. Attendees at the show will see faucet designs never before available," stated David Lingafelter, V.P. of Marketing for Moen.
Steve Nagel added: "The introduction of our process into the home-decor market with a company such as Moen really validates the uniqueness of our patented process. In addition to the Moen team, we were also able to work with Fortune Brands Group, which introduced us to our new customer MasterLock, a sister company of Moen's."
About Kolorfusion
Kolorfusion is the owner of process patents for three-dimensional product decoration invented in France by Jean-Noel Claveau. The Company's technology is considered a major breakthrough for product finishing, as the process actually transfers any design with any colors into a product's coating or directly into the plastic or aluminum part itself, no matter the shape. The result is a fully decorated product as durable as the coating or part. Kolorfusion's technology is ultraviolet resistant, cost effective, and safe for the environment. Unlike decals, silk screening, or standard painting, Kolorfusion's patented processes offer a full spectrum of colors, shades, and designs. Kolorfusion generates revenues through processing contracts and long-term purchasing and license agreements with product manufacturers. Visit our website at www.kolorfusion.com.
