Hutchison 3G Selects CMG for Multimedia and Unified Communications Platform; Global Agreement for Hutchison's 3G Networks Worldwide

ADDISON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 2002

Hutchison 3G UK Ltd ('Hutchison 3G'), holder of the UK's largest third-generation mobile phone licence today announced that it has awarded CMG Wireless Data Solutions the contract to provide its Multimedia and Unified Communications platform. This global agreement enables all Hutchison group companies and affiliates to deploy CMG's 3G IP based messaging platform.

CMG Wireless Data Solutions will deliver a full suite of mobile data and voice messaging software services, enabling Hutchison 3G's customers to enjoy rich multimedia messaging communication, in addition to well-known services like SMS and voicemail.

The contract includes CMG's products based on IP and other open standards, such as Unified Communications solutions, the Multimedia Messaging Service Centre, Wireless Service Broker(TM) and the Short Messaging Service Centre.
