Next Generation Wireless Network
Aether Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:AETH), a leading provider of wireless data products and services, today announced that it has successfully tested Reuters MarketClip,(TM) one of its premier real-time wireless financial services, over the Verizon Wireless "Express Network" in Philadelphia.
Aether's successful operation over the Verizon Wireless high-speed network demonstrates the company's ability to develop, structure and adapt its products and services to perform optimally over a next generation wireless network.

Verizon Wireless' Express Network will offer enhanced levels of service that include high rate packet data services, enhanced voice capacity, and broad-ranging coverage, allowing for pervasive deployment of advanced wireless data applications.
"Our successful trial demonstrates Aether's ability to work with Verizon Wireless to realize the potential of its next generation network," said Dale Shelton, Chief Technology Officer, Aether Systems. "Using Aether Fusion, our extensible and comprehensive technology platform, Aether will continue to provide our customers with advanced, value-add services."
