Penske Truck Rental to Provide AAA Members Exclusive Rates & Benefits

AAA has selected Penske Truck Rental as its exclusive Show Your Card & Save(R) truck rental provider effective January 1, 2002, the nation's largest motor club announced today.

AAA's nearly 45 million members in the United States and Canada will receive 12 percent off one-way truck rental rates and moving supplies, and unlimited free mileage is available on one-way truck rentals. A 10 percent discount is available to AAA members for local rentals and moving supplies. And, a 12 percent discount is available when moving supplies and accessories are purchased without a truck rental.

"AAA members are increasingly leasing vehicles for personal moving purposes," said Tom Wilt, managing director, AAA Partnership Programs. "The opportunity to form an exclusive partnership with Penske means AAA can better serve members when they plan personal moves."

To raise awareness of the Show Your Card & Save(R) benefits to AAA members, Penske will begin labeling trucks and rental centers with AAA's Show Your Card & Save(R) logo, and using the AAA mark in yellow page ads nationwide.

AAA members also will be able to access the special rates and benefits through a special AAA/Penske toll-free phone number; 1-877-222-7924.
