PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2002
Ellie Mae Inc., the nation's largest provider of Internet and software solutions for mortgage originators, today announced a strategic partnership with AppIntell, Inc. (AppIntell), a national leader in pre-funding application and valuation fraud protection.
The partnership will provide Genesis 2000(R), Contour and Calyx POINT users with a direct connection from their loan origination software to one-click application data and property value verification services through the ePASS Business Center.
The ePASS Business Center, a business-to-business portal integrated with the Genesis, Contour and Calyx Point(R), will allow users to verify mortgage application and property value information directly through their LOS within a 15-second response time. With this interchange employed, all data entered during loan origination will be automatically passed along to AppIntell's data and value verification process, providing users with an easy, accurate and single-point solution for their data integrity and value verification needs. The automated field population will eliminate the need to re-key information from one form to AppIntell's DISSCO(TM) (Data Integrity Search & Score) and ValueVerify(TM) Systems.
"Wholesalers, Warehouse Lenders, Mortgage Insurers and Investors are all recognizing the added value of pre-verified application and property value information as a key credit enhancement component in their underwriting and due diligence processes," said Steve Halper, AppIntell's CEO. "With a 15-second response time, these tools can expand underwriting coverage from small samples to entire portfolios at a fraction of the time and cost of existing processes. Seamless integration to the various LOS systems has always been a hurdle to accessing and sharing these important loan valuation tools. Ellie Mae's ePASS portal has now opened the door to this increased value proposition for all of its customers."
"Our goal is to provide the mortgage lending industry with all of the technological tools necessary to streamline the online origination process and do so cost-effectively," added Jack Trageser, vice president of e-commerce for Ellie Mae. "Our partnership with AppIntell and their ability to provide fast, secure, Web-enabled application data and property value verification services, rounds out our vendor platform in the ePASS Business Center and helps fulfill our ongoing commitment to mortgage professionals."
