ComTeq Federal, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PC Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCCC), recently announced that it will operate under a new name, GovConnection, Inc. Since 1993, ComTeq Federal, Inc. has been a leading supplier of information technology (IT) products and solutions for government and education.

The name change underscores recent rapid growth in the company's sales and customer base, which in addition to federal agencies, will include state and local government agencies as well as schools and colleges. The new name also better reflects the company's emphasis on customer service, as well as rapid response in the delivery of complex IT solutions to all public sectors.
