Lutris Technologies Licenses Sun's Java 2 Enterprise Edition; Lutris Supports Open Standards Strategy in Java and Web Services by Licensing J2EE

Lutris Technologies Inc., pioneering J2EE(TM) as Java Services, today announced that the company has licensed the Java(TM) 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) from Sun Microsystems. ISVs, SIs, and VARs will be able to achieve the benefits of using licensed J2EE technology within the Services Architecture of the Lutris EAS application server.
Lutris has demonstrated its commitment to Java technology by actively participating in the Java Community Process SM (JCP) program that drives the evolution of the Java platform, and is working to be among the first vendors to certify that its solutions are compatible with the new integration-focused version 1.3 of the J2EE specification. As part of this initiative, Lutris anticipates certifying its solutions with the J2EE Compatibility Test Suite (CTS), helping developers create portable and quality J2EE technology based implementations and solutions.
