Yahoo! and J.D. Power and Associates Team to Expand Online Research Across Multiple Industries and in Global Markets

Consumer-Friendly Highlights From J.D. Power Automotive Studies to
be Available to Yahoo! Consumers
Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO), a leading global Internet communications, commerce and media company, and J.D. Power and Associates, a global marketing information services firm, today announced an agreement to conduct selected J.D. Power surveys online, utilizing Yahoo!'s technical expertise and global platform.
Under the terms of the agreement, Yahoo! will leverage its global reach and targeting capabilities to administer select J.D. Power and Associates surveys among Yahoo!'s audience of more than 219 million unique monthly users worldwide. Industries under consideration include automotive, financial services, home building, telecom, travel and utilities. To conduct this research, Yahoo! will utilize its survey platform, which is a global recruiting, data processing, analysis and reporting system based on information provided by Yahoo! users.
The agreement also provides J.D. Power with an online distribution channel to offer Yahoo! users selected automotive quality and customer satisfaction highlights from the J.D. Power database. This information, packaged in a consumer-friendly format, will help new-vehicle shoppers on Yahoo! Autos (http://autos.yahoo.com) make more informed decisions.
