Jim Finley, Finley Resources, Joins Surety Bank Board

Jim Finley, a Fort Worth-area businessman, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Surety Capital Corp., the holding company of Surety Bank National Association operating throughout the State of Texas. He will be serving as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Finley's career and business experience of 22 years has been concentrated in the acquisition of oil and gas properties and real estate and their subsequent management. He currently owns interest in producing oil and gas wells and owns and manages commercial buildings. Finley Resources has offices in Fort Worth and in Levelland, Texas.
He has chaired and served on special committees of the board of directors involved in the acquisition and divestiture of publicly traded companies and on special committees involved in the selection of investment bankers in capacities such as fairness opinions and other legal matters. Currently he is serving on the Board of Directors of the Fort Worth Academy and OEC Compression Corp., a publicly traded provider for natural gas compression services.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
