Channel Program Enhanced To Meet Growing Customer Demand, New

VoIP and Security Management Programs Announced

NetIQ Corp. (Nasdaq:NTIQ), a leading provider of e-business infrastructure management and intelligence solutions, today announced a new Authorized Reseller Program that will increase its ability to reach new customers and strengthen its reseller relationships.

Part of the NetIQ Partner Network, the Authorized Reseller Program is designed to provide incremental revenue and market opportunities to qualified resellers that can provide products, training and support to successfully implement NetIQ infrastructure management and Web analytics solutions. As part of its commitment to furthering the success of its resellers, NetIQ also announced today that two new solutions -- Security Management and Voice Over IP (VoIP) Management -- are now available through its Authorized Resellers. For more information on these programs, please visit http://www.netiq.com/partners/channel/

"NetIQ has combined, improved and expanded its existing channel partner programs to make it easier than ever for partners to successfully resell and provide services and support for NetIQ's software solutions," said Mark Marron, senior vice president of worldwide sales at NetIQ. "This new multi-tiered program provides significant benefits and rewards to our reseller partners for aggressively marketing and selling NetIQ products. The program also allows us to better serve our customers and meet the increasing demand for our products."

Designed for Value Added Resellers (VARs), systems integrators and distributors, the Authorized Reseller Program is organized into four areas: Infrastructure Management, Security Management, VoIP Management and Web Analytics. To ensure quality, partners must have demonstrated competency and success in the overall category and been authorized by NetIQ after meeting certain criteria, such as technical domain expertise, commitment to ongoing training and education and business profile. The Authorized Reseller Program has three tiers -- Authorized, Select and Premier -- and each level provides incremental financial rewards and marketing support. The three tiers and overall program structure enable resellers to participate in the program at a level consistent with their current capability and product focus, and to grow as their NetIQ business opportunity and expertise expand.

By joining the new Authorized Reseller Program, NetIQ partners realize multiple benefits depending upon the level at which they participate. Partner benefits include lead generation and referral, discounted software, market development funds and quarterly rebates, as well as technical guidance, enhanced visibility in sales and marketing tools and presence on the NetIQ Web site.
