Provides Attendees With Single Largest Content, Digital
Printing, Publishing and Information Management Exposition
and Conference in North America - New York City, April 7-10, 2003
Advanstar Communications today announced that it will bring together two of the information technology's industry leading marketplaces by co-locating the newly acquired AIIM Conference & Exposition with its ON DEMAND Digital Printing & Publishing Strategy Conference and Exposition at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, April 7-10, 2003. The resulting event will offer attendees with access to learn more about the technologies used to create, capture, customize, deliver, and manage content throughout an enterprise - Enterprise Content Management, ECM - as well as obtain the latest information on the leading tools for digital printing and publishing.
These co-located events will create one of North America's largest business-to-business technology events by offering attendees the opportunity to visit exhibits from 500 leading technology suppliers occupying 300,000 square feet of exhibit space and attend any of 200 educational sessions. The side-by-side events expect to draw approximately 40,000 attendees from around the world.
"By co-locating these two leading events, we are creating a business education and networking environment where corporate management, IT professionals, and service providers can explore and find in one convenient location, a robust and complete array of end-to-end solutions. These solutions help organizations integrate data, content, and output for a wide range of applications that require on-demand provision of content, data and information to enterprise employees, suppliers, partners and customers," stated Kerry Gumas, Vice President & GM, Advanstar Technology Communities. "The co-location of these events creates a tremendous opportunity for vendors seeking to reach the huge community of executives, line-of-business managers, technology professionals, systems integrators and service providers that is driving the creation of business requirements and specs within Global 2000 and mid-market enterprises for hardware, software and integrated content creation, management, distribution and output solutions."
Attendees will be able to maximize their time and budgets at one event by seeing complete technologies from back office applications such as data warehousing, workflow, imaging, and forms processing -- to front office applications such as customer relationship management, electronic bill payment & presentment, content publishing and web publishing, printing, and content management. These solutions are unique in that they provide a variety of formats that meet the current demand for enterprise-wide business process solutions. "Having these two events side-by-side enables the attendees to have a complete understanding of the solutions available to them throughout the document lifecycle. Everything from content creation and management through digital document services and production printing is covered under one roof." States Charles A. Pesko, Jr., President of CAP Ventures, Co-Producer of ON DEMAND.
"By co-locating AIIM with ON DEMAND, Advanstar has completed the puzzle for complete content-on-demand management," said James Watson, president of Doculabs, an independent industry analyst and consulting firm. "Suppliers and IT executives can now have deeper conversations around complete solutions--from creating and capturing information to customization, delivery, printing and publishing. This has the opportunity to be THE content-on-demand event."
