Joint Marketing Agreement Extends Reach for Both Companies
SVI Solutions Inc. (AMEX:SVI) announced today that it has formed a joint marketing agreement with Computer Configuration Services (CCS) to enhance both companies' technology product and service offerings to the retail industry.
The agreement covers SVI's enterprise management and merchandising software products for retailers running on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform and designates CCS as SVI's preferred IBM Business Partner to provide hardware and IBM software services to SVI's IBM iSeries customers in North America.
The companies have already completed their first transaction together. CCS and SVI recently closed a deal with Chick's Sporting Goods to deliver SVI's Merchandise Management system on an IBM iSeries infrastructure.
Barry Schechter, SVI's chairman and chief executive officer, commented, "CCS brings a high level of support and knowledge of IBM products, promotions, technology, and direction to our team, as well as a new revenue opportunity. We joined forces with CCS in this joint marketing effort because we believe it will be beneficial to our customers and will open up SVI's multi-channel technology solutions to an entirely new group of users."
"We are extremely pleased to be working with an industry leading retail software vendor such as SVI to support its iSeries customers and prospects with our hardware expertise," said CCS Executive Vice President Mitch Kleinman. "We look forward to introducing SVI's comprehensive suite of retail software products and professional services to CCS customers and prospects as well."
