BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 29, 2002

J & B Software, Inc. and Ontario Systems have formed a partnership that will greatly benefit accounts receivable outsourcing providers and collection agencies.

The combination of J & B Software's TMS Image(TM) suite of payment processing solutions and Ontario Systems' FACS(R) family of integrated debt collection management products gives the collections industry the ability to increase processing speed while reducing costs.

The FACS(R) system keeps track of all debtor information and automatically manages the collection workflow. When a debtor makes a payment, TMS Image(TM) processes the payment and updates the FACS(R) database.

As a testimonial to the mutually beneficial nature of this alliance, Bill Ensslen, sales manager at J & B Software, has this to say: "We are very excited about our affiliation with Ontario Systems. TMS Image(TM), together with Ontario Systems' FACS(R) products, will provide the collections industry with an unparalleled level of automation and speed of operation."

In addition to the increased capacity and decreased labor provided by the integration of TMS Image(TM) and FACS(R), the ability to encode checks at the processing center makes deposits more timely and also saves money by eliminating bank encoding fees.

"The automated platform has enabled us to increase productivity and accuracy, while reducing associated costs," said Bette Capaldo, general manager of NCO Group, who currently uses the TMS Image(TM)/FACS(R) combination. "It has been successful and our business has grown without increasing staff."

"Our clients lead the industry and this partnership will allow them to become even more productive and profitable," said Steve Beard, vice president for strategic relations at Ontario Systems. "FACS clients can expect dramatic results when they purchase TMS Image."

Ontario Systems provides receivables management solutions to organizations that manage large volumes of accounts receivable. These include hospitals, banks, collection agencies, utilities, and leasing companies. As the largest provider of receivables management products, including the FACS(R) and CT Vision systems, Ontario Systems is the recognized industry leader in technology and customer service.

How to Win at Office Politics

Like it or not, every workplace is a political environment. But operating effectively within it doesn’t have to mean sucking up, lying, or slinging dirt. Playing the game well is about defending your position, earning respect, exchanging favors, and keeping your sanity amid the chaos. To get started, you need to know what you really want from work, then orient your political moves toward those goals. It all starts with strong relationships and helping others; those people in return make up the support system that helps you realize your goals. Here’s how it’s done.
