About the FMV DESKPOWER M8/1809T
The FMV DESKPOWER PC is equipped with both a CD and DVD drive for creating home movies and editing music. Its DVD-RAM/R drive is ideal for storing large amounts of data such as movies and video and the 40x read, 16x write and 10x rewrite CD-R/RW drive allows users to create their own music discs with compilations of their favorite songs. Further, the FMV DESKPOWER PC's DVD-ROM drive allows users to watch their DVD videos and listen to music.
With The FMV DESKPOWER, important video content can be recorded to DVD-R by using DVDit! LE. The recorded DVD-R can be played back on a DVD player. In addition, the FMV DESKPOWER M8/1809T supports 5.1 channel Dolby Digital. When users connect the Dolby Digital 5.1 channel amplifier and speakers to the output terminal for optical digital audio, they can enjoy their DVDs with the dynamism of a movie theater environment.
Finally, users can save their TV programs to their hard drive, eliminating the need for video tape. Approximately 25 minutes of video per GB can be recorded in High Quality Mode, 50 minutes in Standard Quality Mode and 65 minutes in Long Mode -- which means users are able to record a TV program of up to 120 minutes in duration.
Using DVD, the life of a user's video content is extended far beyond what is possible on standard analog or digital tape and the resulting DVD-Video discs can easily be shared between family and friends.
