Active Power Receives ISO 9001 Certification From British Standards Institute

Active Power, Inc. (Nasdaq:ACPW) of Austin, TX announced today that it earned ISO 9001 certification on January 24, 2002 from the British Standards Institute.
The British Standards Institute (BSI), a world leader in standards and quality management services, has determined that Active Power meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:1994 standard (Quality Systems-Model for Quality Assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Servicing).
Developed by the International Standards Organization, ISO 9001 represents an international consensus on good management practices, ensuring an organization can consistently deliver products or services that meet its customers' quality requirements.
