NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2002
In preparation for the onset of peak moving season, Monstermoving.com, a leading online source of relocation information and a brand extension of Monster(R), the flagship brand of TMP Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: TMPW), today announced its "Get Moving" sweepstakes. Teaming up with Allied Worldwide, the world's largest relocation and logistics company, Monstermoving.com is offering site visitors an opportunity to enter and win an exciting grand prize which includes up to $3,000 in relocation expenses, plus a family vacation to the Walt Disney World(R) Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
The sweepstakes will run for six weeks, ending March 6, in advance of summer peak moving season - the time during which the majority of this year's anticipated 43 million relocating Americans are expected to move. Aiming to relieve some of the time, stress and cost associated with relocation, the "Get Moving" sweepstakes offers site visitors up to 12 chances to win the exciting grand prize package. The "Get Moving" grand prize winner will receive up to $3,000 toward a full-service move with Allied Van Lines, Global Van Lines or North American Van Lines, plus a Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel vacation for four to allow the winner and family to enjoy some fun and relaxation after their move.
"More than 17 million households are expected to move in 2002 - the majority of them doing so during the spring and summer months. By encouraging people to start planning their move earlier in the year, we hope to reduce some of the stress and anxiety typically associated with moving," said Chip Smith, senior vice president of marketing, Monstermoving.com. "As a result of our partnership with Allied Worldwide, we are able to offer consumers a valuable prize package which provides essential relocation services to ease the moving process."
The relocation package of up to $3,000 can be used toward any relocation services offered by Allied Van Lines, Global Van Lines or North American Van Lines. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel vacation includes round-trip airfare for four to Orlando, Florida, a 4-day, 3-night stay at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel, 4-day Park Hopper(R) tickets for admission to Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, and ground transportation to and from the airport.
