MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2002
Steiner Leisure Limited (Nasdaq:STNR), which currently operates more than 110 spas at sea and 80 resort and day spas around the world, today opened its first Northern California day spa in Menlo Park. TheGreenhouse Spa Menlo Park is now the eighteenth day spa location to offer both men and women a comfortable place to build a regimen of personal care essential to maintain the feeling and appearance of health, vitality, and good looks.
As part of the Steiner Spa Network, TheGreenhouse Spa Menlo Park offers its clients exclusive access to proven and exotic therapies from around the world designed to excite the senses and achieve results.
"We are incredibly excited to open our newest location in Menlo Park and provide the community with a stress-free environment to unwind and celebrate health and rejuvenation," said Celeste Dunn, president of Steiner Leisure North American Day Spa Group.
"We designed our newest day spa based on our knowledge of operating spas throughout the country and around the world. Our goal is to make the customer experience truly enjoyable and consistent from spa to spa within the Steiner Spa Network. From the minute the customer enters the spa and is greeted by a spa coordinator to the complimentary signature services offered when they leave, TheGreenhouse Spa mission is to make each customer visit a special one. We've learned that our customers don't want to repeatedly give the same information or have to remind us what was prescribed or what type of service they prefer," commented Dunn. "We have all of the client's information electronically at our fingertips, even if their last visit was at a different location."
TheGreenhouse Spa defines the "ultimate" spa experience with exotic spa treatments, such as a Japanese Silk Booster Facial, a Well Being Massage (includes Ten Cultural Touches), or an Exotic Coconut Rub and Milk Ritual Wrap. TheGreenhouse Spa is the only U.S. day spa to offer the Elemis skin and body care products based on the finest quality medicinal plants, organic herbs, and revitalizing extracts blended with active natural bases. For more aggressive therapy, TheGreenhouse Spa offers the exclusive La Therapie skincare preparations and treatments using a balance of nature combined with scientific knowledge to achieve maximum results. In addition, TheGreenhouse Spa is one of a few non-department store outlets to offer Trish McEvoy cosmetics and is one of only a handful of Kerastase Certified Consultants for hair care in the United States.
The complete range of services provided at the spa includes Quick Fix Treatments, Nurturing Face Treatments, Anti-Aging Face Treatments, Body Treatments, a vast array of different Massage Therapies, Hair Care, Hands & Feet Care and Make-up Artistry.
Another unique aspect to TheGreenhouse Spa and its services is that every spa technician is certified in delivering the specific treatment provided, assuring clients consistently superior service every time they go to the spa. Complimentary signature services upon every visit further enhance the experience, with Sensory Massages (head, neck, and shoulders), Paraffin Hand Treatments, Make-up Touch-up (for women), and Hot Towel Treatments (for men).
TheGreenhouse Spa also takes the spa experience one step further by bringing it into customer's homes, offering secure online access to personalized client profile and assessment, in-home delivery of homecare products (discount and free shipping provided), and online appointment booking.
TheGreenhouse Spa Menlo Park is located at 1158 Chestnut Street. Its hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For spa information, please call the spa at 650/325-0700.
