NSI(R) Software, a leading provider of data replication technologies and services, today announced the expansion of its business development efforts with two key appointments. Jerry Gregory, co-founder of NSI Software, has been named Vice President of the Global Consulting Practice and Robert Davis, formerly head of Monster.com's telesales organization, has joined as Director of Telesales. Gregory is charged with cultivating strategic partnerships with the industry's top System Integrators (SI) to extend NSI's reach into enterprise Fortune 500 accounts. Davis will further build NSI Software's world-class telesales organization to support the company's sales strategy through lead generation, qualification and an expedited sales cycle.
NSI Software's CEO and President, Don Beeler said, "I've asked Jerry to take on the role of VP of the Global Consulting Practice, a major initiative for NSI Software in 2002, as we strive to expand our market presence and further diversify our revenue streams. The increasingly significant role System Integrators play in data protection deployments for Fortune 500 companies highlights the importance of developing a Global Consulting Practice to fortify partnerships with high-profile SIs. The technology endorsements by major IT suppliers like Compaq and IBM, combined with our focus on the Global Consulting Practice puts, NSI in a position to capitalize on the growing demand for data protection products."
Gregory will leverage his extensive expertise in business development and his intimate product and operational knowledge of NSI Software to engage SI partners. Gregory will focus his efforts on recruiting partners and building relationships with the large SIs as they incorporate data protection solutions into their business practice.
With more than 25 years of sales and management experience, Director of Telesales Robert Davis will continue to work with NSI's telesales organization, ensuring efficient lead development and qualification. An industry veteran, Davis is tasked with streamlining the lead process at NSI to meet the increased demand for its data protection products.
