New Vice President Joins Laser Diagnostic Technologies; VP to Head Launch of Advanced Glaucoma Detection Product

Laser Diagnostic Technologies Inc., developers of the GDx NFA -- the essential technology for detecting and tracking glaucoma by measuring the retinal nerve fiber layer -- has hired a new vice president of marketing to support the company's launch of the new GDx product featuring Custom Corneal Compensation.

Robert Foster joins LDT as vice president of marketing where he will be responsible for establishing and managing marketing direction for the company. Foster brings to the position almost 22 years experience in strategic marketing, sales, and business development.

Most recently Foster was president of Competitive Advantage Consulting Inc., a business consulting firm where he established strategies and set up sales, marketing and financial resources for companies such as VisionRx Inc, and Tracey Technologies. He also was employed by Carl Zeiss/Humphrey Systems Inc., most recently holding the position of director of marketing, Glaucoma Business Unit.

Foster is a graduate of the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla.
