Equilibrium MediaRich Brings Digital Asset Management to Microsoft SharePoint's Enterprise-Wide Search, Document Management and Workgroup
Collaboration Environment
Equilibrium(R), a leading provider of imaging solutions for the enterprise, today announced that MediaRich(TM) Image Server integrates with Microsoft(R) SharePoint(TM) Portal Server to create a powerful and cost-effective digital asset management (DAM) solution. When used with MediaRich, SharePoint's capabilities are extended to include the automated and dynamic imaging necessary to meet the pace and demands of today's businesses.
Equilibrium MediaRich is server-based imaging software that automates the production and deployment of visual content to the Web, print and smart devices. By integrating the open architecture of MediaRich Image Server with Microsoft SharePoint, companies are able to maintain revision control for a single high-quality image, create derivatives on-demand, and deliver consistent brand assets across multiple channels. MediaRich extends SharePoint's search capabilities with previews and zooms, establishes approval workflows to streamline production and delivery, and allows access and modification to images in a self-service portal.
"When combined with SharePoint, Equilibrium MediaRich provides a valuable digital asset management solution for increasing business productivity within an organization," said Trina Seinfeld, product manager for SharePoint at Microsoft. "We are excited to be working with Equilibrium to offer companies an exciting new solution that extends the benefit of SharePoint and delivers compelling business value to our mutual customers."
