Quantum Loyalty Systems and Wrigley's Make a 'Cool' Connection; Wrigley's Winterfresh Gum Points Program Gives Customers the Chance to Earn FREE Movie Tickets
Business Wire, July 15, 2002
Business Editors
Quantum Loyalty Systems, a leading provider of customer loyalty programs and reward currencies, today announced its role as the supplier of movie vouchers for Wrigley's Winterfresh(R) "Get Your Code & Go" movie ticket promotion.
Winterfresh is the #1 selling sugar chewing gum in the U.S. and is made by the Wrigley Company (NYSE:WWY), the world's largest manufacturer of chewing gum. Customers who purchase 5 PlenTPak(R) packs of Wrigley's Winterfresh chewing gum will be eligible to earn a free movie ticket supplied through Quantum Loyalty Systems' movie rewards program, Hollywood Movie Magic.
The free ticket is valid for any movie at participating theaters in the U.S and Puerto Rico. Tracy Locke Partnership - Chicago, a global marketing and creative services firm, developed the Wrigley's Winterfresh "Get Your Code and Go" movie ticket promotion.
Starting in mid-July, Wrigley's Winterfresh PlenTPak packs will feature a code inside. Customers will be prompted to visit a fun, interactive website, www.winterfresh.com, and enter the code to receive points that they will track and store in an online personal account.
Once customers accumulate five points, they will be eligible to receive a free movie ticket, good for any movie at any time at participating movie theaters. Hollywood Movie Magic's network of movie theaters and studios, the most extensive in the industry, will give Wrigley's Winterfresh customers the freedom to redeem their ticket vouchers at their favorite neighboring theaters nationwide.
Wrigley's will offer the free movie ticket program on nearly nine million Winterfresh PlenTPak packs through the end of April 2003 or while supplies last.
Customers will have the opportunity to redeem Hollywood Movie Magic ticket vouchers through the end of August 2003. As part of its promotion, Wrigley's will feature the "Get Your Code and Go" program on in-store displays throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Hollywood Movie Magic is designed to grow brand awareness, increase customer loyalty and boost sales by giving companies the opportunity to associate their products and services with the fun and excitement of going to the movies.
"Movie going is a pastime that appeals to consumers of all ages," said Stephen Drees, president and CEO, Quantum Loyalty Systems. "Wrigley's Winterfresh customers across the country will undoubtedly get a kick out of the chance to redeem free tickets to the movies. We're looking forward to the success of the program."
