NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 30, 2002
High Demand for Optimal Application Performance and Availability
Results in 13% Growth in US Revenues for First Half of 2002
Heroix Corporation, a leading provider of application performance management software, today announced that its continued focus on providing monitoring and management software for multiplatform environments drove the firm to a 13% increase in orders between January 1 and June 30, 2002, compared to the same period in 2001.
"Heroix finished the first half of the year on a very strong note," said Rick Lane, COO, Heroix Corporation. "What's especially gratifying is that we saw significant additional orders from our existing customer base as well as an increase in new product sales. Our vision of creating tightly unified monitoring and management capabilities is being well received by organizations who are demanding top application and system performance from their complex IT environments." In April, Heroix saw the highest US revenues in company history.
Additional corporate milestones over the past two quarters include expansion of the company's regional presence in the key Chicago and Dallas markets and high praise for Heroix products from reviewers and customers alike. In April, Heroix eQ Management Suite, Heroix's multiplatform application performance management software, was named as a finalist in both the Windows & .NET and SQL Server categories at the Tech-Ed Best of Show awards. In addition, Heroix eQ was cited as the management software that "has it all" by Bill Heldman of MCP Magazine, and the one tool that "does it all" by Dave Kearns of NetworkWorldFusion.
In July, Heroix customer e-Nable Corporation, a leading provider of data aggregation and underwriting support system solutions to the North American life insurance industry, spoke with DM Review and enthusiastically testified to the benefits they have achieved from their recent enterprise-wide implementation of Heroix software: "The investment we've made ... has paid off significantly. I couldn't imagine living without it," said Tony Borelli, e-Nable systems software engineer.
