PHOENIX--(BW HealthWire)--June 11, 2002

InteGreat Inc. Tuesday announced that The Portland Clinic LLP, Portland, Ore., has signed an agreement to implement InteGreat's IC-Chart(TM) electronic medical record (EMR) system.

The system will enable The Portland Clinic to provide clinicians at its three locations with quick access to complete, up-to-date patient information.

"InteGreat wraps the product around what the clinic needs, rather than expecting physicians to practice differently to use the product," stated Jon Malachowski, M.D., vice chairman of The Portland Clinic's board of directors. "The way the system is priced, its demonstrated ease of use, and their reputation for service made it possible for our physicians to agree to go forward with InteGreat," Malachowski added.

InteGreat's modular approach to implementing an EMR was a key factor in The Portland Clinic's decision. J. Michael Schwab, administrator of The Portland Clinic, said, "InteGreat provides our clinic with the flexibility we want to grow an EMR system to fit our operational needs. Other systems we looked at required us to fit into their predesigned system."

"Having The Portland Clinic select InteGreat as its partner reinforces our belief that physicians want to, and will use, an EMR that supports the way they practice medicine," commented David H. Koeller, president of InteGreat.
