Comverse, a unit of Comverse Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMVT), and the world's leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communications services, today announced that Advanced Info Service (AIS), Thailand's largest mobile operator, has selected Comverse's VoiCD advanced mobile music end-to-end solution for listening to, and distributing music and other multimedia content over telecom networks.
The AIS offering, "Music-2-Gether", offers the full-scale VoiCD music portal, which enables a wide range of applications, including the ability to listen to a music track, download ring tones, and send a music track to a friend with an introduction for any special occasion. Special commemorative campaigns can be conducted around holidays or national days.
