HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 4, 2002
Quorum Business Solutions Inc. (Quorum), a product-centered services company that develops and supports industry standard applications across a wide range of businesses, continues to be independently recognized for its growth and entrepreneurial spirit with a number of prestigious awards.
The Dallas Business Journal announced Quorum as a Fast Tech 50 Company for 2001 in its Tenth Anniversary of the Fast Tech 50 list on May 31, 2002. The list honors the 50 Dallas Metroplex companies that have experienced the largest revenue growth through 2001.
Additionally, Quorum, represented by president and co-founder, Paul Weidman, has been selected as a regional finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year(R) award for the Southwest Area. From among 26 finalists, award winners in several categories will be announced at a ceremony in Dallas, June 15th.
These two most recent honors follow the selection of Quorum COO, Scott Leeds, from a worldwide field of applicants by representatives of MIT, Inc. Magazine and the Young Entrepreneur's Organization in to the prestigious "Birthing of Giants" program.
"It is very gratifying to gain external recognition and validation on the local and national level for the company that we founded just 4 years ago," said Paul Weidman, Quorum president and chief executive officer. "We started this company with a specific business model in mind - to build mission critical business solutions and to commit to support those solutions over the entire product lifecycle. Above all, we wanted to build a company with strong cultural values that hires quality people who stand by the company's products and services, enter into win-win relationships with clients and demonstrate, through long-lived client relationships and return on investment, that Quorum is a truly different company."
These awards provide objective reinforcement of the commitment that Quorum has made to its clients and to its employees. Most of Quorum's clients have enjoyed a long-term relationship with the company, and have had the opportunity to benefit first-hand from this commitment.
