SERENA Software, Inc. The certified solutions provide customers with a comprehensive, completely automated, change management solution for deploying, versioning and coordinating management of SAP and other applications across multiple platforms throughout the development life cycle.
"As infrastructures to run integrated business applications become more complex, it is vital for SAP customers to focus on effective change management in order to deliver reliable Service Level Agreements to senior business management," said Dr. Derek Prior, Research Director at Gartner, Inc.
Serena ChangeMan DS, Software Change Manager for Distributed Systems, and Serena ChangeMan ALM, Application Life Cycle Manager, extend the scope and business benefits of SAP solutions by providing new functionality to users. Additionally, it provides users with a master view of all development activity of SAP solutions and other applications throughout the application life cycle by coordinating the generation and status of change requests between SAP solutions and Serena ChangeMan ALM. With these new capabilities, customers can maintain greater control over the development process for higher quality applications, as well as improve overall collaboration, workflow and productivity across the enterprise.
Serena ChangeMan DS gives organizations a proven solution to manage the frequent changes involved in building, deploying and maintaining software to secure business success. The product provides native support across multiple platforms including Windows (98, NT, 2000, XP), UNIX (IBM AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, OS/390 USS, SCO UNIX and Linux), MPE/iX, and OS/400.
